International Volunteer Day @ Planet Futsal 

Sunday 8th December: 

ISCO Foundation versus Sahabat Anak.

Over 50 children sponsored by ISCO Foundation and Sahabat Anak woke up early on Sunday morning 8th December  to compete in the International Volunteer Day  Futsal Tournament at Planet Futsal Kuningan. The carnival recognizes the efforts of volunteers every year in contributing to a better world.

Starting at 7am, the competition was unique in it pitted both Secondary and Elementary teams against each other. Some games had a David versus Goliath quality, as 12 and 13 year olds were playing against boys twice their size! The teams from  ISCO Gege and KB Melati demonstrated greater skill then their older competitors but were exhausted by the high pace of the game and failed to advance past the semi-finals.

ISCO Semper courageously made the Grand Final against the team from Sahabat Anak. Inspired by their coach David Limpong, the boys were ahead 2-1 late in the second half. A late equalizer by Sahabat Anak enforced a dramatic penalty Shoot-out. The Penalty Shootout was a Boil-Over as Sahabat Anak  scored 3 times to ISCO Sempers 3 misses. Watch the action unfold above!
